Pink Twinchies
Here are my two Pink twinches for this weeks challenge, the fairy one is made with pink gingham paper, torn mulberry paper and angel hair, edges are over sewn with embroidery floss, added glass beads, the fairy is cut out of a piece of cotton fabric, the other one has an 2 toned inked background, stamped branches, flowers and birds, the 2 ladies are cut from a black and white collage sheet and coloured with marvy pens, inked edges and a paper flower to finish.

Clown twinches
I had great fun making these 2 twinches for this weeks challenge, the theme of course is Clowns, I lightly shaded some plain white paper stuck onto card, stamped a red cracked effect background, over this are stamped dots, (another handmade stamp made with circles cut out of funky foam) the clown images are from a sheet of Victorian scraps that I have had for about 10 years, I knew that they would come in handy one day, added a little cane, words, beads and a beaded hanger, coloured the sides with inks to match the dots.

" Blue Colour " Twinches
This weeks theme at Nan's Inchies & Twinchies challenge site is " Blue Colours " I love doing colour theme's so I have really enjoyed making my 2 twinchies for this week.
Both are done on different shades of blue pearl papers, the one on the left is stamped with a tree, the little boy image is from Lisa's Altered Art, the tied cinnamon sticks are from a tea bag folding paper, bird is from a collage sheet from Retro Cafe Art ,I used fabric paint to give a raised edge.
The other one was stamped with a cracked ice effect stamp and embossed in white , the dove and the word Peace are from a Christmas paper image booklet, I have over sewn the edges of this one to it finish off.

My Twinchie for this week, Dog Friends
The theme this week on the inchies and twinches challenge site is "Dog Friends" so I made my twinchie using a picture of my 3 year old grandson Mason, with my 1 year old Jack Russell called Stumpy, they are true friends, they play together all of the time and Stumpy sits at the front door crying when Mason goes home, we got Stumpy from a rescue center about 6 months ago and we all love him to bits !!!
The wavy lines on the back ground of the twinchie were stamped with a stamp that I made myself, just out of scraps of children's funky foam glued to a piece of thick cork tile, it works very well, I never throw anything away :-)
I did not have a lot of time this week for making things, we are fitting a new bathroom, plus my AOL internet server is not working, its been a nightmare here, anyway I hope that you like my simple twinchie !

Halloween Twinchie
Here is a picture of the Halloween twinchie that I have made for this weeks theme at the small world of inchies & twinchies challenge site, I hope that you like it, later in the week I am going to try my hand at inchies, mind you I am not sure that I will be able to cut anything out of paper with it being so small, I have made inches before with mixed media but not paper, will have to see how they turn out.

Pink Ribbon Twinchie
I hope to become a regular participant on the Small World of Inchies & Twinches challenge site, the challenge for this week is to use a pink ribbon on either an inchie or twinchie as this is breast cancer awareness month, below is a photo of the twinchie that I have made, the background is inked and stamped, the rose is 3d, but this does not really show up in the picture, I used pale pink pinhead crystals on the ribbon,

A mix of my Twinches

These first 3 are done on water coloured paper, that was left over from some atc's that I made, so don't throw your scraps of papers away they always come in handy.
If anyone does not know about Twinches, they are only 2 inch square, there is a challenge site for making inches and twinches, I am going to join the challenge site myself, so I should be able to give you a direct link to this site,
I hope that you like these mini works of art.

I thoroughly enjoyed making these twinches, although it was hard to cut such small images out of the collage sheets that I used, practice WILL make perfect.
It was also nice to use some of the small rubber stamps that I have been collecting, my photo and cropping work still needs to be improved, but I am getting better !
