Two Button Fairies

I received these two lovely button fairies in the post today, many thanks to Lorri Otto for the red and yellow fairy and Sue Young for the purple and yellow fairy, both are beautiful, the picture's of these are from a scan I think that I prefer to take photo's, I will add a photo of the ones that I sent for this swap later in the month, I took a picture of them but have left my camera at our boat in Norfolk and will not be going back there for another couple of weeks, Thank you both, I LOVE them !!!!!!

My Button Fairy

For sometime now I have wanted to make a button fairy after seeing one on another blog, so at long last I have finally made one, these are very easy to make and quite relaxing to do, I was surprised at how quickly it came together, it took me about 25 minutes to make but about 1 1/2 hours to find all the bits that I needed, never know where anything is in my workroom, anyway have learnt my lesson and put all requirements together ready for the next one,

My grandaughters are 10 and 8 years old so I am going to get them to make some in christmas colours, they should look lovely hanging from the xmas tree.
